Clinique Moisture Surge Pop Triple Lip Balm

[unpaid/samples/affiliate/ad] There’s a run on great balms at the moment – improvements on categories are an ongoing work for brands but I’m not sure how so many happened upon balm-boosting at the same time.

A blend of shea and Vitamin E, the balms nominally have a bit of colour to them (in real life they aren’t nearly as lively looking as on the Clinique website) with a three ring bullet and a core of colour at the centre. You really won’t get much colour at all (if any) but you do get a little bit of a frost within the juicy finish.

The shades I have are Lychee and Acai but I don’t think it will really matter which you pick. Actually, I tried to swatch them but the colour was so light there was nothing to see but two clear stripes. It works perfectly as a balm that actually has enough staying power that you’re not constantly re-applying so in that respect it’s a win, but the sheerness of the colour is just too sheer to have any impact. A great day to day balm that looks very pretty both in presentation and on the lip with its teeny weeny tad of shimmer but my eyes are drawn more to the Flower Pop Bronzer in a soft matte finish (£26.50) HERE below. Otherwise, the balms are £17.50 HERE, non affiliate HERE.
