[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] No wonder Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint has been having all of the raves. It’s really the easiest, most silky feeling base you could possibly want with a light, real skin coverage that can be built up to a medium weight.
It’s a very natural looking finish – the blur aspect wasn’t particularly apparent on me I must admit so I’d think of it first as a complexion perfecter before a blur because it does do the unify thing very nicely, leaving a low-level glow.
It’s a very fluid lotion – I used it by just putting a few drops into the palm of my hand and picking up with a brush from there. The advantage of the fluidity is that its the easiest blend you’ll ever do – it didn’t settle in pores, even over my nose, and became seamless almost immediately. I should point out that the formula is dimetheicone heavy which gives it such a great skin feel but it didn’t interact with the skin oil I’d used (I’m trying again to get a clear run at Augustinus Bader). I also tried it on top of an SPF (Chanel) and there was no interaction there either so it does seem to be very low maintenance in playing well with others.
The shades I have here are 6 and 7 (6 is bottom, 7 is top) both of which I could wear but 6 is my best match.
Despite the very silky feel of the fluid, I didn’t find it particularly moisturising so you may want to make sure you have good skin hydration before applying. Otherwise, I can’t find any problem with it – many of the 25 colours are in short supply but it looks like Boots has the best stock at the moment as well as £5 off, making it £20 instead of £25 HERE. For a good shade match, I’d go onto the main Fenty website and use their colour selector HERE before making your Boots purchase. Non-affiliate HERE.
