Peacci Nail Polish

[unpaid/sample] Sometimes, colour is just so energising – I absolutely loved photographing these wild brights from Peacci. One of my friends showed me her nail art earlier this week – she had painted a tiny red heart on one nail on each hand and it was so sweet – I’m thinking a yellow heart over a clear coat would be lovely and something I’m going to have a go at.

It’s always best to get full volume on brights to have a coat of white underneath because it intensifies the colour but this formula seems to be thicker than most and very highly pigmented so you may not need to. I got a really decent finish with the yellow shade without it applying two coats and then a top coat.

I mean, these are just good-mood-makers in a bottle really, aren’t they? I’m assuming the name Peacci is pronounced ‘peachy’ – if not, I’ve been saying it wrong! Peacci is a fairly newly launched brand (2020) from nail professional Daisy Kalina who founded The Gelbottle Inc in 2017 (focusing on gel manicures) which was successful almost instantly. Both brands are vegan and cruelty free.

The brush is nicely fat so you get a good application – two strokes does it – and it’s a perfectly glossy finish with or without top coat. I always use a quick dry top coat because I just don’t have the patience to wait for dry nails but this was actually quite quick to dry so in this instance, I’d say it’s not essential.
